Dublin City Council has approved a new hotel for the Bridge Street district.

Council on Oct. 12 approved a site and development plan and preliminary and final plat for a new Home2 Hotel on about 2.5 acres on the east side of Frantz Road, between Bridge Street and Upper Metro Place.
