Paul Westrick didn’t anticipate opening a second location of his Downtown store Zeroz. But, when developers at Bridge Park asked him to join the growing number of local businesses there, Westrick saw an opportunity. Next to neighbor RAM Brewing, Zeroz Bridge Park will focus on retail, leaving its Downtown store to manage production for both locations.

Zeroz opened six years ago, introducing Westrick’s creation to the city. His minimalist wallet, inspired by his cycling lifestyle, comes in three sizes: extra small, holding two or three cards; small, holding between four and six; and medium, offering space for up to 10 cards. Their manufacturing happens in the back of his store, executed by CCAD students, artists, designers, and others interested in “craft work.”

zerOz Announces Second Location in Dublin, Ohio

zerOz brings streamlined, hip shopping experience to Bridge Park

DUBLIN, OHIO – With the tagline “less wallet, more cool,” you know you’re in a for a treat when visiting zerOz, the handcrafted wallet retailer located in downtown Columbus. Owner Paul Westrick and his team recently announced they will be expanding the company with a second storefront at Bridge Park in Dublin.

“With the newest restaurants, bars and companies moving into Bridge Park, we felt it would be a great opportunity for us to expand zerOz,” said Westrick. “We love meeting people every day and helping them to simplify their lives. We are looking forward to being part of the Dublin community, just as we are part of the community in downtown Columbus.”

Westrick conceived the idea of a modern, slim wallet while on an adventurous bike ride through the Appalachian mountains. He began using a worn out rubber band for a wallet and continued this for a year. Realizing that a heavy, traditional wallet was unnecessary, he brought his background in design to the forefront by creating a streamlined wallet that was perfect for the new generation. zerOz now offers wallets in three sizes and in a variety of styles, colors and leather.

“zerOz is a unique and modern concept in Columbus,” said Brent Crawford, Principal at Crawford Hoying. “We’re excited that with it’s expansion to Bridge Park, this hidden gem will be shared with the Dublin community and beyond.”

zerOz will occupy 600 SF at 4548 Bridge Park Avenue, opening on Black Friday, November 24, at 5:55am. The retail shop joins a long list of restaurants, entertainment and retail spaces opening at Bridge Park, including PINS Mechanical Co., VASO Rooftop Lounge, MESH Fitness and more.
