Dublin City Council approved a basic development plan yesterday evening for the first phase of the larger Bridge Park project. The plan, presented by Crawford Hoying Development Partners, calls for the construction of eight mixed-use buildings in phase one, that will include a total of 371 housing units, 169,000 square feet of office space, 87,000 square feet of restaurant space and 1,868 garage and on-street parking spaces. The eight buildings range in height from five to six stories and will sit on the west side of the site along Riverside Drive, with future phases planned in blocks north, south, and east of phase one.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe approvals given were really the result of two years worth of planning, gathering feedback, making adjustments, and working toward the ultimate goal of building an iconic walkable, urban neighborhood that Dublin will be proud of for years to come,\u201d said Stephen Brothers-McGrew, Marketing Manager at Crawford Hoying. \u201cWe\u2019ve still got work to do, but we\u2019re really excited by the direction.\u201d<\/p>\n
