Bridge Street District Highlighted at Columbus Business First’s 2015 Power Breakfast
Another capacity crowd turned out Wednesday for the 20th edition of the Columbus Business First Commercial Developers Power Breakfast, which showcased development efforts in Dublin.
A crowd of about 900 at the Hyatt Regency heard from headliners Dana McDaniel, Dublin’s new city manager, and Terry Foegler, the city’s director of strategic initiatives and special projects. The two focused their presentations on Dublin’s Bridge Street District, while also highlighting new development land opened up with the extension of Emerald Parkway, Dublin’s city-wide fiber-optic system, and the city’s hopes for the West Innovation District.
A panel discussion featured Cardinal Health CEO George Barrett, who talked about the company’s Fuse tech lab in the city, Dr. Bill Burke, dean of Ohio University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, who discussed the school’s growing branch campus there, and IGS Energy CEO Scott White, whose company has worked with Dublin on CNG initiatives.
