CRAWFORD HOYING ADDS CAMERON MITCHELL RESTAURANTS’ THE AVENUE STEAK TAVERN TO GROWING BRIDGE PARK TENANT LIST
The 5,187-square-foot restaurant to open in Spring 2017
DUBLIN, Ohio, February 29, 2016—Dublin, Ohio-based developer Crawford Hoying announced today the completion of a 10-year lease in its Bridge Park development for a second location for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ latest restaurant concept, The Avenue Steak Tavern (The Avenue). Brent Crawford, principal of Crawford Hoying, made the announcement.
“Cameron Mitchell Restaurants is proud and excited to be part of the Bridge Park development and the transformation that is happening in Dublin,” said David Miller, president of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants.
The Avenue is an all-occasion steak tavern serving fine steaks and tavern fare. The restaurant will occupy 5,187 square feet on the ground floor at Bridge Park West, and be situated at the south end cap adjacent to the plaza. Slated to open in Spring 2017, The Avenue will feature a covered terrace with a fire pit seating area. In total, the restaurant will accommodate 150 guests and create 60 new jobs for local residents.
“The Avenue will be a great addition to our Bridge Park development, perfectly complementing our neighborhood vision with a restaurant by Cameron Mitchell, one of the most award winning restaurateurs in the region,” said Crawford. “We are looking forward to The Avenue’s opening and are confident the restaurant will thrive in this one-of-a-kind destination for many years to come.”
Earlier this month, Crawford Hoying announced that it had signed two new Bridge Park leases with Mesh Fitness and The RAM Restaurant and Brewery. In total, Mesh Fitness and The RAM will occupy 18,900 square feet of retail space.
The first phase of the 30-acre multi-phase Bridge Park neighborhood is slated for a Fall 2016 completion. With additional tenants to be announced in the coming weeks, Phase I includes a total of 269,000 square feet of restaurant, office, retail and personal services, two 850-space parking garages, as well as 382 luxury apartment units and 42 condominiums. Phase I will also include more than $155 million in public improvements, of which the City of Dublin will contribute $43.1 million, as outlined in the City’s unanimously-approved Bridge Park Development Agreement with Crawford Hoying.
