Residences, retail planned in heart of Dublin
An investment group plans to build a mix of residences and retail on a 6-acre site on W. Bridge Street in Dublin, extending the redevelopment of the suburb’s downtown.
The group, led by Scott Walker, owner of Olympus Homes in Westerville, paid $4.1 million for 12 parcels at Bridge Street and Moneterey Drive. A Sunoco gas station and six rental duplexes are now on the property.
Walker said the group is finalizing plans for the site, but is considering a multi-story building on Bridge Street that would include retail and restaurant space on the first floor and perhaps apartments above. Behind that, luxury condominiums would be built overlooking Monterey Park and the Dublin Cemetery.
