DUBLIN, Ohio, February 18, 2016—Dublin, Ohio-based developer Crawford Hoying announced today that they have completed two leases totaling 18,900 square feet of retail space in its Bridge Park development for The RAM Restaurant & Brewery (The RAM) and Mesh Fitness. The announcement marks the first tenant announcement for Crawford Hoying’s highly anticipated Bridge Park development. Brent Crawford, principal of Crawford Hoying, made the announcement.
“As construction of Bridge Park continues to move forward as scheduled, we are proud to welcome The RAM Restaurant & Brewery and the new community-focused fitness brand, Mesh Fitness, to our ever-growing list of tenants,” said Crawford. “Our vision for Bridge Park has always been to create a one-of-a-kind destination where friends and visitors alike could come together and see first-hand all that Dublin has to offer. The RAM and Mesh Fitness are the perfect complement to this vision, offering a unique dining and fitness experience.”
Founded 45 years ago in Lakewood, Wash., The RAM became an employee-owned company in 2014 and has over 30 restaurants in 7 states. The company currently has a new location under construction in Columbus and the Dublin restaurant and brewery will be their second in Ohio. Best known for its casual, family –friendly atmosphere, The RAM menu boasts favorites including Fish & Chips, Legendary Burgers, House Specialty Mac & Cheese, tasty Ribs and an assortment of fresh salads and piled high sandwiches. To complement their superior quality food, The RAM pours the freshest and most “drinkable” award-winning craft beer, created by their passionate and talented in-house brewers. The restaurant will occupy 8,500 square feet of space and feature outdoor patio seating.
The 10,400-square-foot Mesh Fitness is slated to be open in the fall of 2016. Mesh Fitness offers a differentiated fitness experience, complete with cardio and strength offerings, innovative group training zones and outdoor park training options. The Mesh Fitness philosophy is built on engaging all members of the local community. With the neighborhood vision top-of-mind, Crawford Hoying has partnered with Mesh Fitness to be its residential fitness provider where each residential unit within Bridge Park will receive one complimentary membership to the fitness center.
“For 45 years, our business has thrived as a family-oriented restaurant company with deep ties to the communities that we serve,” said The RAM CEO Jeff Iverson. “Bridge Park is a logical and prime location to continue to grow our business and provide our tradition for quality food and frosty, handcrafted beers to residents and visitors alike.”
“We are thrilled to be a part of this one-of-a-kind development created by Crawford Hoying and the City of Dublin and to serve as the official fitness provider of all residents within this regional destination,” added Joel Limes, owner of Brand Stamp and co-founder of Mesh Fitness. “We believe that health is a necessity and not a luxury, so we designed Mesh to be accessible to everyone. One of our core values is to offer a premium experience to everyone, at a very affordable price, while also supporting local charities to progress the community.”
The first phase of the 30-acre multi-phase Bridge Park neighborhood is slated for a Fall 2016 completion. With additional tenants to be announced in the coming weeks, Phase I includes a total of 269,000 square feet of restaurant, office, retail and personal services, two 850-space parking garages, as well as 382 luxury apartment units and 42 condominiums. Phase I will also include more than $155 million in public improvements, of which the City of Dublin will contribute $43.1 million, as outlined in the City’s unanimously-approved Bridge Park Development Agreement with Crawford Hoying.
