Dublin City Council expressed their support for The Casto Organization Tuller Flats project proposed for the Bridge Street District by authorizing City Manager Marsha Grigsby to sign a Letter of Intent (LOI) between Casto and the City of Dublin. The LOI endorses the development framework and addresses the overall proposed project’s layout of buildings, streets and open spaces, as well as the key terms for a possible development agreement land exchange with the City of Dublin. The LOI is neither binding nor comprehensive and does not change the review processes outlined in the Bridge Street District Code
The initial LOI was amended to clarify that the Tuller Flats project must comply with the Bridge Street District code and proper waivers need to be obtained if the project was to deviate from the standards of that code.
According to the Letter of Intent: This LOI shall serve as City Council’s expression of support for the Tuller Flats Project and Council hereby directs the Developer, Staff and its boards and commissions to strongly consider the terms of this LOI as Council’s determination that it finds the key elements of the proposal and the associated key development agreement terms to be generally consistent with its Vision for the Bridge Street District and to use this LOI to help inform the continued review and evaluation of the Project.
